"Why We Re-enact"

A short documentary on World War 2 re-enactors, and historians of South Florida.

This project showcases the different people and organizations who keep South Florida's World War 2 history alive.

Upheaval Films in collaboration with Miami Dade College bring you this short documentary in the year 2013. A longer feature version is currently in the works.

The Miami Military Museum is currently under construction and is located next to the Goldcaost Railroad Museum on the grounds of Zoo Miami. This museum consists of the actual historical building which was used by the United States Goverment during the second world war as the headquarters for Richmond Naval Air Station (Richmond NAS).

Richmond NAS was the home of a squadron of U.S. Navy blimps which patroled and protected South Florida and the sorrounding waters from German U-Boats (submarines). Baker Company is proud to assist the Miami Military Museum in its endeavour to restore the historical building and participate and volunteer during museum activities.
